Starting from Leer, we fly over the Ems and Dollart rivers along the coast. At Greetsiel, we turn north towards the island of Juist and fly over the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site along the East Frisian islands of Juist and Norderney. We then make an arc over Norden and return to Leer. Alternatively, the flight can also be organised from Emden (surcharge € 40.-). The flight takes place all year round.

Gestern haben mein Mann und ich einen wunderbaren Rundflug über die ostfriesischen Inseln erlebt. Bei herrlichem Wetter konnten wir zunächst die Weite Ostfrieslands bestaunen, wurden dann von der Schönheit der Wattlandschaft überwältigt. Wir hatten das große Glück, die Inseln bei Ebbe zu überqueren, sodass wir die wunderbaren Strukturen mit Prielströmen und -bächen, den Sandgebilden und Mustern des Meeresbodens bestaunen konnten. So wunderschön!! Und ein wunderbarer Kontrast zu den weißen Sandst...
