Nach dem Start in Strausberg wird auf nördlichem Kurs bald das Schiffshebewerk Niederfinow und wenig später der Wolletzsee überflogen. Am Horizont erscheinen alsbald der Ober- und kurz darauf der Unteruckersee, die sich südlich von Prenzlau in die Landschaft einbetten. Wenn dann ein paar Minuten später Pasewalk (rechter Hand) passiert wird, erkennt man schon sehr deutlich das Stettiner Haff.
