About Rhys

Hello and welcome! My name is Rhys, and I’m based in the beautiful Garden of England, operating from both Rochester and Lydd Airports. I’ve been passionate about aviation for as long as I can remember. I first took the controls of an aircraft at just eight years old, began formal flight training at 14, and earned my Private Pilot Licence at the age of 18. Flying has been a lifelong ambition, and it’s something I still genuinely enjoy every time I take to the skies. Professionally, I’m an aircraft mechanic working on easyJet’s Airbus A320 and A321neo fleet, so aviation is both my career and my passion. While I spend my working days keeping aircraft flying safely, I fly light aircraft purely for the enjoyment of sharing the incredible experience of flight with others. I’m currently rated on the C152 and the complex Cessna 172 Remis Rocket and I look forward to welcoming up to two passengers on board for scenic flights across Kent and the South East. Whether you’d like to see the White Cliffs of Dover, Leeds Castle, the Kent coastline, or another landmark of your choice, I’m always happy to tailor a route where possible, taking into account weather conditions, controlled airspace, and any operational restrictions. If you’ve ever wanted to experience the Garden of England from a bird’s-eye view, I’d love to share that experience with you. I look forward to welcoming you on board. Blue skies, Rhys

Castles & Coast: A Kent Aerial Adventure

WOW. What an incredible experience. A different pilot had cancelled our booking and it was looking unlikely a flight would go ahead…With less than 7days notice, Rhys accepted our request and planned a better route in a bigger (and better) aircraft! Rhys gave me a call a few days before the flight to let me know abit about him, the route and answered any questions I had - super helpful as it was our first time flying in a light aircraft so I did have a few questions! The flight was incredible...
