About Bener

Hi, I’m Bener, a private pilot flying from Sandtoft Airfield in the Cessna 150 and Cessna 172. I have a lifelong passion for aviation and also work with aircraft professionally as an RAF aircraft avionics technician, which has made me very safety-focused, methodical and detail-driven in the way I fly. Alongside my PPL, I hold a Night Rating and UK Instrument Rating (Restricted) privileges, giving me additional training and experience beyond basic private flying. I’m also currently working towards my Commercial Pilot Licence, continuing to build my flying experience, knowledge and standards. My Wingly flights are relaxed VFR scenic cost-sharing flights, carefully planned around safety, weather, visibility, airspace and passenger comfort. My routes include local and regional sights such as the Humber Bridge, Spurn Point, Flamborough Head, Scarborough, York Minster, Castle Howard, Chatsworth and the Peak District reservoirs. I especially enjoy taking first-time passengers flying. I’ll explain everything clearly before we go, answer any questions, and make sure you feel comfortable throughout the experience. Whether you’re booking as a gift, trying light aircraft flying for the first time, or simply want to see familiar places from a completely different perspective, I’d be happy to welcome you onboard.
