About Ben

Hi, I am a PPL pilot from Belgium, born and raised on airfields. I started flying gliders at the age of 15 and have flown them for 1300h during long cross country flights and local competitions. Just before corona put the world to a stop I decided to start flying motorized planes. Having lived in the assumption of not been able to fly professionally due to medical reasons, I got my EASA Class 1 medical nevertheless. Whiteout hesitation I started my path towards the long life dream => Becoming a pilot. I am currently doing my ATPL theory in distance learning whilst flying my time building at and around my flying club. I combine my fulltime job for the gouvernement with a parttime independent job for an aviation company specialized in aerial survey and paradrop plus my own small business in airplane detailing.
