We leave for Chambord, the pearl of the Loire Valley. We then head for Chaumont sur Loire, with its drawbridge, via Cheverny. The flight continues to Chenonceaux, a magnificent château spanning the Cher river. We reach a lesser-known castle, but one that's well worth the diversions: Gué-Péan, following the Cher and then the Château du Moulin, lost in the forest. We then return to the aerodrome, crossing the Sologne and the 1000 ponds via La Ferté St Aubin to finish.
