We take off near Arnstadt, fly past the Hörselberge mountains with the famous Tannhäuserhöhle cave, circle the Wartburg castle and the Inselsberg mountain. We continue over the ridge of the Thuringian Forest to Oberhof and on our "descent into the lowlands" we see a few more dams before landing again at our take-off airfield via the legendary Jonasthal.
