Cotswold Airfield

EGBP

Cotswold Airport (EGBP) is based near the village of Kemble in Gloucestershire. It has had its various uses, most famously as the base for the Red Arrows aerobatics team until the early 1980s. For avid F1 fans, an interesting use of the airport is for Formula One straight line testing. Cotswold Airport (EGBP) also boasts one of the largest race tracks for radio-controlled vehicles in the UK. The airport is a hub for private aviation and has frequently stressed it's lack of interest in becoming a commercial passenger airport.
