About Sotiris

Hi there, my name is Sotiris, and I look forward to being your pilot on your scenic flight soon! But of course, before we meet in-person, here’s a little bit about me! I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Cyprus, where the sun shines bright for more than 300 days of the year. Growing up I always had a keen interest for flying, especially after observing how birds took to the sky, flew and remained gliding for what seemed like an endless period of time. My curiosity for flying only grew stronger during my teen years, when my oldest brother went on to become a private pilot himself, before earning his commercial wings a few years later. Since 2011, I’m a frequent flyer, taking family and friends, as well as people who have a keen interest for flying, onto scenic flights around Cyprus, and in particular the western peninsula of this beautiful island, departing from the picturesque city of Paphos, my birthplace! The western peninsula of Cyprus is one of the most picturesque regions of the island, featuring incredible views of the crystal-clear waters of Lara Bay and Blue Lagoon, and the stunning landscapes of the Akamas National Forest Park.
