Fly over Arthur's Seat
Towering imposingly 1 mile to the east of Edinburgh, you will find Arthur's Seat, a magnificent spot to enjoy panoramic views of the Scottish capital city and beyond. No one knows for certain exactly where the memorable name came from, however, what is very interesting is the fact that the hill is actually an extinct volcano!
Due to it being relatively easy to climb, Arthur's Seat has become an extremely popular destination with hillwalkers and tourists looking for a spot to relax and take in the fresh air. The breaktaking panorama is even more impressive when admired from the sky!
