You have up to 24 hours before the flight date to cancel the flight via your Wingly account. If the pilot cancels the flight for any reason, you will be automatically credited the payment amount on a gift card. If you paid by gift card, the gift card will be recredited and extended for 1 year.

As availability can vary and change with time, we recommend sending the pilot a message prior to booking to ensure they can fly on the dates you are looking for. Please keep in mind all flights are weather dependent and can be cancelled or rescheduled at short notice.

Your pilot can be easily contacted before booking by sending them a message on the page of the flight in question by clicking "Contact pilot". After a booking has been made and accepted, you will be able to message them via your account and you will receive their contact number so that you may discuss further details and keep in contact closer to the flight date.

After buying or being gifted a gift card, simply redeem it in your account (gift card received after a failed booking are automatically redeemed). When you find a flight that you like, click book the flight and all your redeemed gift cards' credit will be automatically applied upon payment.

A cost shared flight is conducted by a local private pilot. The flight is non-commercial in nature and not an air taxi service. The pilot is sharing their passion for flying with you while also paying for an equal share of the flight costs.
