Wellesbourne Airfield

EGBW

Wellesbourne Airfield (EGBW) sits not far to the East of Stratford-upon-Avon and played an important role in the Second World War as a bomber training field. Nowadays EGBW is home to a restored Avro Vulcan, which takes part in the annual classic car and aircraft show, alongside a number of flying schools. Wellesbourne Airfield's central location and its proximity to the Cotswold AONB means it is ideal for either Wingly sightseeing flights or for excursions in any direction.
