Sandown Airport (EGHN) is located just outside Sandown on the Isle of Wight. With the Isle of Wight being one of UK's most sought after tourist destinations, it is no surprise that this airport is at its most active in the height of summer. Sandown Airport (EGHN) is strictly used for light private aviation with its one grass landing strip. Sandown is a popular airport for Wingly with plenty of excursion flights landing there. It was also due to be the location for the annual Wingly fly in in 2020.
