Van's Aircraft is a funny aircraft manufacturer. The founding of the company was based on the experiences of the American, Richard VanGrunsven, who would go on to test different models and structures after being disappointed by his first plane (a Stits SA-3 Playboy). He then collected the centerpieces of each of his favorite planes and ended eventually created something that impressed him.

Its purpose is to allow any model of aircraft to combine handling, power and speed.

There are a dozen Van’s Aircraft aircraft: the RV range, inspired by VanGrunsven’s very first Stits SA-3 Playboy. The history of these planes is famous in the United States where the brand has become a real craze.
