<p>The Diamond DA42 is iconic. It was the first twin-engine diesel/kerosene engine. You can see why it is raved about. This aircraft changed light aviation because of its very low operating costs. It halved the cost of twin-engine aircraft and therefore made it easier to access them in schools, for example.</p> <p>Its cockpit is particularly ergonomic and classy. Diamond calls it "the definition of perfection".</p>
