About Beagle

A British construction company closed in 1969, Beagle Aircraft was known for producing various models such as the Airedale, the Terrier, the Beagle 206, the Husky, the Pup, ... Beagle Aircraft had factories in Leicestershire and Soreham in Sussex. During its history, Beagle took over two aircraft manufacturers, Auster Aircraft Company and FG Miles Limited. Unfortunately, the company made poor strategic decisions based on overly optimistic forecasts, while projects were delayed and costs soared.
