Covering an area of 823 square miles, Snowdonia National Park is an immense and beautiful part of Wales. Mount Snowdon lies at its heart and, at a height of 1,085 metres, is the country's highest mountain. Snowdon Mountain Railway trains snake up the mountain from Llanberis to the summit, offering incredible views on the journey. More intrepid travellers can walk up the mountain by one of eight routes varying in length and difficulty. This beautiful vista can be enjoyed from above where a flight over Snowdonia National Park takes in the mountains, North Sea and the lovely Isle of Anglesey.
