The airport was initially named 'Speke Airport' before being renamed in 2001 after the Beatles legend, John Lennon. John Lennon Airport (EGGP) serves roughly 5 million passengers per year and offers a wide range of commercial flights, as well as private flights with plenty of Wingly flights available.
