Über Paul

Hi, I am a good safe friendly pilot flying for fun, and enjoy sharing my experiences with others on a cost sharing basis. I specialise in day trips for a really fun and interesting day out. I have experience flying several different types of aircraft, 4-6 seat, single and multi engine piston (propeller) aircraft, and am currently flying a Diamond DA40NG which can take 2 passengers comfortably, or possibly 3 if the overall weight is low enough. This is a very modern aircraft (2016) with G1000 glass screen cockpit, very comfortable seats, and it runs on Jet fuel too! I originally trained in the US where I obtained my FAA PPL (ASEL) and also Instrument Rating (IR). I also hold CAA SEP, MEP, Night and IMC/IR(R) ratings. If I have not listed a specific location or experience you are interested in, please do ask! All my flights are flexible so please contact me first so we can make specific arrangements and to check availability of the aircraft. Check my feedback too from others who have flown with me, you wont be disappointed! Any questions? Do ask me! Please note all my flights are minimum 2 passengers sharing. Alderney (Channel Islands) - day trip

We flew with Paul to Alderney today and he was just incredible! My husband was incredibly nervous and Paul’s calm and pragmatic confidence put him at ease. Paul did a great job of explaining what was going on at all points in the journey, including pointing out interesting landmarks. The flight to Alderney was beautiful taking in Surrey and Portsmouth before crossing over the Isle of Wight. Paul’s landing’s were faultless there and back. Looking forward to the next flight Paul!

Jersey (Channel Islands) - day trip

We flew to Jersey from Redhill with Paul for my partner’s 30th and had the best time. Paul was very communicative from the first message. He was also very flexible on the day, offering to go to Guernsey or Alderney if the early morning fog didn’t clear. The journey was really smooth and comfortable. The plane is really modern, with a Garmin G1000 and autopilot. The glass canopy provides amazing views. Paul is a very knowledgable and safety conscious pilot who was also great company the whole way...

Alderney (Channel Islands) - day trip

Paul flew us from Redhill to Alderney, where we explored the island for half the day and then back. We had an incredible time from beginning to end. Paul took great care of us, making us feel very safe and explained a lot. Not only is he an experienced pilot, but also told us interesting stories from his life which we very much enjoyed. The communication beforehand went also really well. Overall we highly recommend planning a flight with Paul!

Le Touquet (France) - day trip

I recently flew along with my wife to Le Touquet with amazing Paul in the pilot seat. What an excellent day out and experience it was. Paul was great and extremely helpful throughout the process, going above and beyond what is asked of him from these Wingly flights. Paul made use feel safe and comfortable during the flight.
