À propos de Nigel
Flying since age of 9. Initially with my father who until his passing away age of 97 used to fly with me. I am the former Chairman of the Exeter Flying Club and have held a PPL since 2006. I completed the build of Vans RV9A G-CSAM in December 2021 and converted to type in January 2022. G-CSAM is a VERY FAST 2 seat aircraft with the 160 BHP Lycoming engine. Based at Exeter since new and always hangared she is a delight to fly, well equipped and has an outstanding 360 degree view from the cockpit making her ideal for sightseeing. The Vans range of Kit built aircraft are widely regarded as the best in the world and the RV9A is the non-aerobatic tourer of the range. With a Cruise speed of 160 kts and a climb rate of 2000 ft/min she is a very rapid aircraft and an absolute delight to fly. G-CSAM was completed in December 2021 and is equipped with the very latest in Garmin Glass Cockpit displays and full Garmin Com radio and Mode S Transponder , plus ADSB In & Out capability giving excellent traffic awareness. I have a Class 2 Medical (valid until 10/01/2027) I have a LAPL Medical (valid until 10/01/2028)

I had a flight with Nigel around South Devon. It was a fantastic experience. I was limited to weekends and therefore at the mercy of the dicey Uk weather. It got cancelled twice, once for wind and rain and the other for bad visibility. Nigel was still happy to fly but recommended rescheduling and I’m glad he was so flexible as to have no visibility would have missed the point! Third time was a charm and while I’m no stranger to plane travel, to go up in a light aircraft, fast and nimble, and fly...

I was very impressed by Nigel's professional and friendly attitude to flying, he made me feel at ease and confident in his ability. Although the weather was not the best, he made the trip Interesting and informative, and adjusted the flight plan to fly over our caravan! I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you for a memorable time.

Wow what an experience! Nigel was a fantastic pilot his enthusiasm for flying and calm demeanour made any nerves fly away! This was my first flight in a light aircraft and will certainly not be my last! A 5 star rating is not enough! Simply brilliant!
