A 60 minute experience flight for up to three people in G-HIGA, our four-seat Cessna 172P which is a proven and capable training aircraft. A stunning route up the Fylde Coast, past Morcambe Bay and over the Lake District, returning alongside the Forest of Bowland. Warbird Experience (Chipmunk - 30 Minutes)

My husband went today to Wingly to fly in a Chipmunk aeroplane. We arrived late as we couldn’t find it but it wasn’t a problem at all. The guys were fab that met us at the door. Eddie the pilot is a fabulous guy and made the experience fantastic. There is a young lad there too I think he’s called Alex and he took my hubby to look at 2 planes on the tarmac a Spitfire and a Hurricane that were being used at Rhyl air show. We ha an amazing experience with eddie and his team flying over blackpool. The Pilot was very informative and answered all our questions we had, we even had the opportunity to take control of the plane which my son absolutely loved. Would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a flight experience. Marc

Lake District Air Experience (1-3 people)

Fab flight from Blackpool up the coast over Barrow and Ulverston and then back south. Edward was very thorough and put us completely at ease. This was a treat for my father - soon to be 90 years old! When Edward learned some of his history he went all out to make this a very memorable flight for dad - even to manage a quick extra detour over an old haunt which made dad very happy. And letting dad fly the plane for a few minutes was the icing on the cake. Would recommend to all.
