Hi, I'm Eddie, As a Wingly Pro member, we offer a range of trial flights with highly qualified pilots to introduce you to the world of general aviation. We hope you enjoy looking around and can't wait to hear from you! We operate an approved training organisation at Blackpool Airport, certified to conduct introductory flights, trial lessons and a range of courses including the light aircraft and private pilot licences, the upgrade course from LAPL to PPL, and further qualifications such as the night rating, restricted instrument rating (IMC) and the aerobatic rating. Blackpool Airport’s location on the Fylde Coast makes it the perfect airfield from which to conduct training, with easy access to the incredible scenery by day and night over Lancashire and the Lake District, and the busy airspace of Liverpool and Manchester to the South.

Fylde Coast Air Experience (1-3 people)

Alex flew along coast of Lytham St Anne’s across to Southport and back. We could see Liverpool. Would be nice to fly to Liverpool and the Mersey. Well organised and top value for money. Chris

Lake District Air Experience (1-3 people)

Had an excellent flight with the pilot Alex. Alex was extremely knowledgeable, super friendly and explained everything clearly and reassured us throughout the flight. Alex took time to explain everything to my son who is keen on becoming a pilot in the future. Definitely recommend. Thanks for a great experience Alex,

Warbird Experience (Chipmunk - 30 Minutes)

My husband went today to Wingly to fly in a Chipmunk aeroplane. We arrived late as we couldn’t find it but it wasn’t a problem at all. The guys were fab that met us at the door. Eddie the pilot is a fabulous guy and made the experience fantastic. There is a young lad there too I think he’s called Alex and he took my hubby to look at 2 planes on the tarmac a Spitfire and a Hurricane that were being used at Rhyl air show.
