Über Sean
I'm a private pilot living in Sheffield and based out of Sandtoft airfield, occasionally flying out of Gamston too. As well as having my standard PPL licence I also have qualifications to fly at night and in poor weather. This is something that comes in very useful in the UK, where conditions can change significantly in the 1-2 hours between takeoff and landing! I'm studying for the Airline Transport Pilot theory exams alongside a full-time job with the intention to become a part-time flight instructor at the weekends - a process which takes a couple of years. I'm usually only available on weekends due to my work schedule, but I also have some weekday availability during the evenings in the summer for a 6pm or 7pm departure time. If you want to check availability for a date not listed on the calendar please get in touch. I only accept flight requests from airfields where I am based, but will attempt to accommodate any special requests or routes as long as they are safe & legal. I can create a custom flight plan for you if none of the standard options suit. If you have any doubt, message in advance before booking.

Ladybower/Peak District experience

Excellent experience today with Sean. Sean was very informative and made my slightly nervous wife very at ease. Throughly enjoyed every minute including the brief stint of flying the plane. Would highly recommend and would definitely book further trips with Sean.

Whitby & the North York Moors from Sandtoft Airfield
Sean was friendly and very good at his job. This flight was a 70th birthday present from my family and I chose it because I have many happy family memories of my late husband and children visiting the Yorkshire coast, North Yorkshire Moons Railway and York. Sean’s flight plan took on board all these memories that I talked to him about and despite the visibility being a bit reduced at times made my flight a wonderful experience which I will treasure.
