Cranfield Airport
Cranfield Airport (EGTC), located just 50 miles from London, is a hub for General Aviation, those looking at learning to fly and those seeking excellent transport links to cities all across the UK. Originally a World War II aerodrome, it is now also a centre for business aviation. Cranfield Airport (EGTC) was first opened in 1937 and served as the base for various RAF squadron groups. Following the Second World War, the airport evolved into more of a hub for general aviation.
