General manager and owner of Asco ehf, small specialized workshop for eletronics in Cars, Trucks and Boats in Akureyri. Flying since young boy in Isafjordur in the Westfjord of Iceland; mostly to remote airstrips and small airfields, transporting people and goods. Flying is a highly rewarding sport despite being a little on the expensive side, like most good things in life.

Akureyri to Modrudalur - sight seeing and stop over.
Ein traumhafter Flug! Super netter Pilot, der sehr viel weiß und alle Fragen kompetent beantwortet. Wir hatten noch dazu das Glück, bei Bombenwetter fliegen zu dürfen. Auch auf spezielle Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Und dass die Aussicht auf Islands Natur von oben nicht zu toppen ist, muss man nicht extra erwähnen.

It was an outstanding experience. You fly with a Cessna from an international airport into a beautifull landscape. It was really amazing and Hördur is a great and friendly pilot.

Today Hörður flew his beautiful Cessna 180 to a remote landing strip where we received a very welcome reception. His great flying experience in the mountains shows. He can also tell you a lot about Iceland. Would love to fly again.

Der Flug mit Hörður war super. Der Kontakt war anfangs etwas schwierig aber es hat alles super funktioniert. Es war erst überraschend, da uns vorgeschlagen wurde anstatt der geplanten Ost-Route nach Westen zu fliegen. So ist es bei Wingly. Es ist keine Reise Unternehmen mit festen Routen. So haben wir die Westfjorde von oben sehen können, was wunderschön war und haben einen der westlichsten „Landeplätze“ Islands kennenlernen dürfen mit einer spektakulären Landung. Hörður was most kind and his guiding and presence most enjoyable! Before the flight, we were able to discuss with him all the needed details and concerns, be that about weather or safety or other variables. We really appreciate this.
