Über Bruce
Coventry Airport is closing in June 2026 however until then I'll be flying as much as I can and also out of Turweston, light aircraft flying is the way to see the countryside or land away and go walking or exploring or just enjoy a cup of coffee or lunch. Being ex RAF I have always loved aircraft and all activities associated with them. I fly during the week and at weekends with the flexibility to suit anyone. With both airfields being so central it means there are many varied trips to make as I very much enjoy passing on my passion and enthusiasm for flying to others. When we fly we all have headsets so can hear Air Traffic and talk to each other. Cameras & phones can be used during the flight to record a special occasion or as much as you choose to. I always provide a full safety briefing before the flight and will update you in the days preceding about the forecast weather to ensure when we fly we get the most out of the experience. I have a class 2 medical (valid until 10/07/2026) I have a LAPL Medical (valid until 10/072027)

Sight seeing Warwickshire Worcestershire Oxfordshire
Bruce was excellent both in keeping us informed of any weather updates or issues before the flight, and in putting my 13 year old son at ease on the day. Both he and the flying club staff were friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of taking a sightseeing flight.

Flying from Turweston to Alderney
Bruce is the ultimate pilot that we could have wished for. Patient, friendly, knowledgeable and overall a top class person. We had an absolutely amazing journey to Alderney with so many landmarks pointed out to us we were amazed by Bruce’s knowledge. We would highly recommend any flight with Bruce

Great experience. First time flying for both my boys and our pilot, Bruce, was amazing, really helped reduce their anxiety before the flight. Through out the whole experience Bruce pointed out places, buildings, rivers, roads... really helped put context to some incredible views.
